So I picked up my "Pilgrim" pair...??*Updated Pics*

I catch them every night to put them in a locked house for the night,so catching them is no big deal...from what I saw he had some Grey geese and some white geese..He called the "African grey Toulouse and White Pilgrims"...

I am guessing the one is female strictly by behavior...even before the goslings were introduced...she was calmer...when they are approached the "male" will stretch his neck out and hiss at you...anyway, I will try to vent sex this week sometime..anyway, they both have some light grey feathers as well....so confusing

It sounds like the person you got them from has no idea about what geese he is keeping.
The white pilgrims and grey african/toulouse geese flock he has may just be all pilgrims and he is simply calling the males one breed and the females another made up breed name from ignorance.
Hope your able to figure out what you've got.
Whatever they are they sure are beautiful.

I thought so too...but they have some grey feathering? Do Embdens get that?

Yes, they have grey feathers when they are young and eventually lose them.

Ok...these older geese are 2 years old...what do you think? The younger ones are from the same place but could have different parents. The 2 lighter goslings are growing in white feathers...the grey gosling is growing in grey and has grey bill and feet
