I tell myself a lot that I deserve to be treated that way by others because I was born to be that way, for some reason I adopted that mentality. But I will try to not take things so personal. sometimes people are rude because they are overloaded with their problems and it has nothing to do with us. as you've said, don't take things so personal.

I want to add, if you want to raise and breed rabbits as pets, good for your! Some people have a real problem with breeding. I get it, but still choose to take what I like, and brush off the rest. I don't share the same concerns, but do understand their point of view. Its not thier business to make you feel bad about your choices. You are odviously an educated person that is breeding responsibly if your on such a helpful site. This forum isn't only for chicken keepers.
As long as your responsible, I see no issue. I don't always agree with the way members handle predators on this forum, but I have learned its not my business to get involved. It's their property, not mine. They should have the same respect for you as you do for them. Your not sticking your nose in their business about raising rabbits for meat, (example) they should keep their nose out of your rabbit keeping.
Don't listen to them, they're probably just jealous that they don't have nearly as gorgeous rabbits as you.

Not a burden at all. I remember feeling intiminated, dumb, and small when I first joined BYC. There were so many smart educated members on here that knew so much. Most of them didn't take the time to make their posts empathetic, but others seemed to portray that I was a newbie. I learned to take what I liked, forget about the rest. I also learned to differentiate rude posts, from straight forward ones. I still noticed some overly confident posts, but am now able to brush past it. You'll get there, I know you will.

Your good I understand...I grew up in foster care so I had to figure my life out on my own since there was noone there to show me or lead me the right direction....its a learning experience....you'll get there I have faith...its good that you are reaching out

But then, I also feel really weird if I do end up sharing my thoughts on here and feel bad I guess for others who have to hear me because I feel that I don’t mesh well with society, that I just seem like an alien to them. I’m not sure how to describe it. But I feel that I’ve always been too fragile for this world, if someone wants to push me down to let themselves get higher, I let them. I just submit and tell them basically, “okay, mold me into whatever you want I guess.” There is times where I think about how I feel so inferior and I don’t get sad about it, I just accept it but then there are times like this where I just want to cry and cry and cry because I see how vicious and selfish people can be, and it brings me down.

I’m so sorry that people in this world are garbage. You can’t take peoples opinion to heart, you’ll feel so much better when you focus only on yourself. and tbh they only want a reaction or their parents were sh*t and didn’t raise them right. If u ever wanna vent to me go ahead coz it helps, and also if anyone is starting stuff lmk coz I’ve never tolerated it were Here to help people with their issues not judge them happy new year!!

for me (who don't show chickens) SOP sounds like: don't merry that guy. although he has the best personality ever he has big feet and some of your kids my inherit that trait
