If you have 6-8 hrs to spare, you could try and calibrate the hygrometers.

Wet salt creates 75% RH inside sealed ziploc. Put your hygrometers in there (not in the solution... just in the ziploc) let it sit for 6-8 hrs and see how far off 75% they read.
