So what's your chickens favorite...yet weird treat?

Twinkies and flour tortilla wraps.

Boy do they love to play tag with the tortilla wraps!

I know one thing my Brahmas LOVE are sandwiches. Any kind. When they were 4 months old, I'd take a piece of bread with bologna and mayo on it, offer it to them, and they'd go WILD for it. It was so funny, I had to capture it on video.

After that, months later, all my chickens love my lunch. If it is sunny outside, I like to pull up a chair, and start eating lunch with them. It gets really tricky too! You have one girl in your lap, one trying to perch on your shoulder, another on your arm, another waiting behind you, and everyone else at your feet. . . On way or another, SOMEONE is going to get a scrap, whether I offered it or not.

The sad part is that the roosters always eat last. . . They just kind of watch, beg, and wait. . If you offer something to them, the girls snatch it before you can blink. Even IF the roo gets a chance, he just drops it and lets the girls eat.

Am I the only person who thinks feeding them another chicken is kinda....uh.....gross? I mean, I wouldn't want anybody slipping me a tasty entree made from Cousin Eugene, know what I mean? Lol...

The dots on my nightshirt. Of course, I think it's sorta cute, like a small child tugging at my clothes for attention.

For actual EATING, they devour most anything I bring them, but shredded mozzarella cheese is a HUGE favorite. That's the treat I use for hand-feeding them. They don't even peck too hard for it, so it's a nice treat for me, too, to give them that treat.

My chickens would never be that lucky.
All our bones and marrow are made into real bone broths

Ours love apples.
When we have flocks of babies, I love cuttin gone in half, and watching them hollow it out.
Really, if its a human food, our chickens think its a treat

Oh, I forgot to mention, in the summer I wear my crocs out to the coop and run, and quite a few of our birds think its great sport to peck my feet through the holes.
They are deadly accurate, and I would love to know what they think they are going to find in there

No, I wouldn't ever feed my chickens their own kind. Sure, if they had the chance - Cannibalism tonight!! But, really, - So would humans if not told. Plus, you gotta consider that mad cow comes from the ingestion of same-species flesh.

- And "mad cow" is not limited to cattle.
