You said it, sister! I'm guessing that there's gonna be strippers at that party. You don't have to follow him. Just wait until after the party and ask Boyd cuz I'll bet he's gonna be there. Beat it out of Boyd if you have to.
I have no problem with him wanting to go with his buddies someplace... (but my husband would never ever dare tell me that i could not go with him if i wanted to go... which i usually dont want to go anyway...lol..)
What i have a BIG problem with is him making up all these excuses and lies.... And thats why i would not trust him... period.
I hate liars... If you lie to me ONE time and i find out..i am done with you because i'll never be able to trust you.
I think the lying would be more of a problem for me than the lack of invitation! My brother faced a similar situation with his girlfriend. She made plans with a group of friends she knew he didn't really enjoy hanging out with. She never told him about these plans but he found out shortly after. He was very upset and told her that she should have invited him, even if she knew he would say no. There's certainly no need for lying!

You gotta look at the reason he's lying .. If he's not a habitual/pathological liar, then there is a REASON. Not saying it's right, but if he's lying because he doesn't want to deal with the reaction when he says "Guys only .. you can't go" .. then someone needs to look at their reactions.
Most people lie to avoid the CONSEQUENCES of the reaction when they TELL THE TRUTH..

Just something to think about ...
deb
Nah..nope..never ever a reason to lie to your spouse.. (espically over such a stupid thing as this...)
nope..not buying it...
I'd have just one question... are any other females going to be there?
If no, then okay I get it it's a Guy Bonding Get Macho Thing... no different than if I go to the mall with my mom and sister Girls Only...
But, if other females are playing and/or if other guys are bringing their girls then I'd be suspicious as hades. Because clearly there would be other folks for you to hang with while he got his Guy Time. You wouldn't have to spend 24/7 together... but you could both go and have fun together AND separate.
*shrug* Just my initial opinion so take it with a grain of salt.
