Soap makers Soap SWAP!

PM is totally fine. I just thought I'd offer the SASE if someone wasn't comfortable reviewing honestly if their name was attached to it. What I don't want to hear is "everything is great" when "there could be some improvement" is what they want to say.

Edited to add: And, I'll be glad to offer my reviews as well.

Hi folks,

I'm afraid I'm going to have to have you take me off the list for the swap.
Things aren't going well with my back, I probably wont be making any for a while.
My sincere apologies.
Hopefully this implant will go well and I'll be back to it soon.
Best of luck to y'all!
Peace...

Don

Backyard,
It would cost you nothing to use the PM system here for reviews. We are all in this together and want to help each other. My best reviewers are my family, but sometimes I don't agree with them. However, their opinion is always free and candid, so I can always take it for what it is worth, or not.

I usually have a pretty good idea if the soap is a winner or not. One time I made a soap that 2 family members told me was slimy. I agreed with them and did not repeat the recipe.

All that being said, are we going to include both our BYC personalities and our real names or just the BYC names we are known by?

Don, sorry things are not going well with you. Can I ask? What did you have done to your neck and how can we pray for you?

I'll be happy to do so for you. BUT, it will probably be in a month or so after the swap.

I'm one of those firm believers that you really need to let a soap age for a minimum of 6 weeks to bring out it's best qualities. No need for a SASE, I can PM you

Don, so sorry to hear about your back. I hope you heal very soon .

I am totally willing to to give feed back on any bar. PM is fine with me and free and I don't care if my name is attached. I would love to have some feedback on my salt bars as well. My mil loves them, but my husband hates them, so I wanted to get a broader sample.

UGH!! I went to make more of my soap for the swap when I remembered that I ran out of coconut oil. Now I have to go almost 20 miles just to get it. I wish some one locally would sell the stuff. The store that carried Fels Naptha closed so now I am going to have to order it online. I swear the stores around here are not soaper friendly lol. One more thing that is slightly off topic. I mentioned it as well in the other soaping thread. I am putting together a web site and I want to list my soaps for sle. I want to make a pay pal account to post up there but I need to know if I do that do I need to register my business with my state? Anyone know anything about that?
