Buffy, the hatch-mother of Rebecca's egg by Carl.

    Betsy the Barred Rock ChatterBug

Charlie, bantam Buff Brahma - he's a cutie and a gentleman roo, but lowest in rank of all 4 roosters

Carl, dominant roo. (He's recently lost his big curled tailfeathers, but everybody seems be losing feathers everywhere all over the place)

Lacey the SLW, one of Carl's favorite ladies, finally comfortable in her new shawl

Rhoda, with her fashionably semi-flopped comb

    Shirley Welsummer

Carl and Lacey were luxuriating in a shared dust bath this afternoon. It's so rare to see him dust-bathing at all - he and Lacey were in bliss.

    ...and then Greta interrupted them.

Oh - new sign for the Big Coop. (Created by msbear - excellent work!!)

Hopefully this little bantam cochin hatchling will be one of my lovely ladies (instead of a handsome roo) - hatched this morning!

I looooove Carl! He is such a good boy! And whew that buff brahma is a little handsom boyo too. I wish I could have roosters, he looks like a sweetie! And so regal even in his bantam stage [IMG] he still has that "Yep, Imma Brahma!" look hehe

Wonderful pictures. Especially the one of Rhoda. Beautiful and healthy looking flock.
