Well...I wish I could bring you guys an exciting hunting story about how we fought and I won...in the end, it was much simpler. I got the bugger in a trap.
She doesn't look as big as she really is because she is stretched up. She *LOOKS* cute, but if you could hear her...she was growling & snapping at us. I can't say I didn't enjoy ticking her off for sometime.
Well, we all know she wasn't leaving that trap alive....I'm pretty dang brave, but I'm not foolish.
After I was SURE she was dead...as in rigor began to set in, I finally removed her carcass and went to work doing just what I promised her I'd do if I ever got my hands on her.....
I carefully removed all of her skin, right down to her little black nose. I actually did a rather good job removing the skin, stretching her out & de-fleshing the hide. Once I got that done, I poured on a whopping dose of boric acid (20 mule team borax). I let that sit for about a day, poured it off & scraped any remaining flesh. Then I dumped on more borax.
That sat for a few days & viola!
There she is....right where I can keep my eye on her. She won't be getting into any more mischief.
