These feel rubbery. Found them in a hen's stool on our deck this morning. Any ideas? Not sure exactly which one but saw 2 hens on the deck this morning and both seem fine. (Drinking straw in pic is for size reference)
They are small, but could possibly be lash egg material, which usually is infected material from the oviduct. It is a result of salpingitis. You have good eyes to find those. Do a search on salpingitis, and look for TheChickenChick.com who has an excellent article, and also look for ThePoultrySite and others.
That was what I was thinking but wasn't sure if they passed in stool. Someone laid an egg without a shell today. As far as I know, only one is laying due to molting or old age. Not one of the the 2 that were on the deck today...
