just watched the video, and it almost looked like a stomach cramp! I don't know if ducks can get cramps, but how does the poop look now?
Such a beautiful bird, I'm glad he is improving.

His poops look normal, albeit a bit full of mealworms lol and it's funny you mention the cramp.... after looking at how much he's preening now that he is capable, I've been wondering if this whole time he's been trying to preen and getting a muscle cramp or spasm?

Some much needed rest :) Mac has become quite attached. He cheeps like crazy unless someone is touching him.

Much better. Have you tried him in a tub of water lately? And how's the eye? I felt myself swaying, kinda bobbing and weaving with him while watching that last video. :D

He has gone swimming in our pond (under close supervision of course) and only needed a little help here and there to get going in the right direction. He bathed his head real good and since then his eye is looking better.

Mac and Cheese have been reunited!
Mac will still be spending the next few days sleeping with myself and my boyfriend next to our bed, but we have high hopes that he will be good to spend the night with Cheese in a few days :)

Sidenote: his beak and feet were super hot earlier... I let him bathe and his beak cooled down but his feet were still hot.
They have since cooled down but he will be watched closely still.
