Wow that's amazing. I'm glad he seems to be walking more now. Maybe that will get his coordination straightened out to swim forward too.
That is amazing. I’m with WVDUCKCHICK, I think he’s going to have to relearn everything. Poor guy, it might be humorous to watch him swim backwards if he didn’t act so distraught. What about putting one of his mates it with him so he can see how they are swimming. And you there of course to calm him if needed. That’s sweet he finds comfort with your touch.

He’s swimming backwards because he’s paddling his feet backwards in the water. I’m thinking he will get it figured out!

I think he is doing fantastic for where he was even over the weekend. Your doing an amazing job helping him. Just thinking about him up walking now warms my heart I think he'll get the swimming down soon too. I agree maybe putting his buddy Cheese in with Mac might help. Thanks for the video and update.

Mac and Cheese were swimming together this morning and Mac is still VERY vocal in the water but he' a little more stable. I think Cheese keeps him calm :)

I've lowered his dose of B-complex to 2mL from 4mL because I'm not sure how long I need to give him so high of a dose. I suppose I'll keep lowering it as he maintains and continues improving until he's only supplemented instead of medicated.

Thank you all so much for your support :) I'll continue with video updates.

For anyone still following this thread: Mac is all better, but we've realized he's almost completely blind! Thankfully, Cheese and Pistachio act as his Seeing Eye Duck and Seeing Eye Chicken, so he always knows where to find his water, food, and friends :) Thank you to everyone for your help. I couldn't have done it without you!
