Sour/pendulous crop

I think the bra will do the job. Just follow up with daily morning checks.

I doubt she has a gizzard blockage. She would be behaving sick. It's very normal to have a poor appetite as long as the crop remains full. But you can give her a teaspoon of coconut oil directly into her beak as a precaution. It will not hurt.

Have you started the miconazole? That is also harmless, and it's a good precaution since her crop has been slow for a while, preventing emptying. There's a good chance yeast has colonized the crop. As the yeast is countered by the miconazole, her crop will be less full, and it will stimulate her appetite. Off her low carb food such as boiled egg, yogurt, dry crumbles, etc.

Yes I will be getting it today to start the treatment of it. Also she just had this poop(just as an update )

today she has already had two poops which is more than usual and since she has had the bra on which hasn’t been long she has pooped two massive watery poops and one is the picture. I am not sure but the crop bra already seems to be working!

Please describe her behavior. Lethargic? Non-vocal? It's not apparent in the photos, but is she standing with her tail low and flat as opposed to upright?

The poop would be easier to see if you put down plain white paper towels for her to poop on. But it looks like she may have a reproductive infection. This could be what's responsible for her crop issues even though she may also have pendulous crop. I'd like to see current poop on a plain white background to better assess.

She has been eating a bunch of eggs and lettuce today and is fine. She has her happy bocks whenever she sees the food. She has been laying down lately but it’s most likely because of her crop making her uncomfortable and lethargic. Her tail is upright, I will attach another picture. What is making you believe a reproductive problem? (Just wondering). It could very well be a reproductive problem but she doesn’t seem that way.. she is currently trying to walk around in her new bra and is having difficulty but keeps trying.
she does try to eat paper towels so the next time she does poop I will pick it up on a towel and take a picture...her poops have been a little suspicious lately though. Her other poop she had... with the crop bra being on was clear liquid with brown ish chunks but I didn’t take a picture.

The bright yellow in the previous poop has me concerned. Yellow can mean egg yolk. But if she's bright and alert and chatty, she's likely okay.

so if she hasn’t laid an egg in about three years could it still happen?
and her crop has been greatly decreasing in size so I think the bra really is helping.
today I gave her one treatment of the miconazole and she didn’t eat it off my finger but I was able to still give it to her.

Hens can decide to lay an egg at any age. It's less likely, but possible. I had an eleven year-old hen lay a perfect egg last spring. The same goes for reproductive tract infections and egg binding. Internal laying can also occur at any age if the hen decides to ovulate. This is the reason commercial egg producers only keep hens for a couple of years.

Let her behavior tell you how she's feeling. Since the bra is helping the crop to empty, she should be feeling much better already. A hen that is active and vocal and eats well is less likely to have a serious health issue.

Alright so she seems fine currently, her crop is working and she is eating, but now i have two more chickens acting up so i am going to start a new thread for it.

So a little update: I have only been able to give the cream once a day due to coming home from school late and I don’t have much time but on the weekends i gave it to her twice a day.
she was normal but now she is having crop problems again... yesterday and today she wouldn’t eat and wasnt doing anything. Her crop is very close to being empty tonight so if she doesn’t eat tomorrow then I don’t know what’s wrong with her.
do you have any suggestions?
