What are the pupae in the 1 to 5 o'clock section? Everything else I recognize including the giant hissing roach.

They're silk worm cocoons. When the worms are spent, the yarn farms sell them for food.

Thai food is great. You find the insect rubbish only in a few homes and at some markets. I never touch bug food myself . Never been that hungry or poor.

Well, here goes the neighborhood. Em has arrived. To cook snake, cut it into 6 or 8" pieces and fry it up just like eel. It will wiggle around in the fry pan as it cooks - no need to turn it.
