Congrats on hatching out blues, Heidi!!!! I have got to get another blue copper roo since my fella is getting up in years.

Amy, I just wrote you about my blue babies! I am really excited about them! I it looks like they are decent birds I could always get you some eggs from the blue girls so they would not be directly related to your girls. We will have to see what we get! I am so excited!!!

Still no Aimee..... and I heard her squawking away in the woods this afternoon. I bet she laid an egg out there! Off to buy a chicken catchin' net tomorrow! It's exciting about the blues, Heidi! I was supposed to get 10-12 eggs in my other auction but some of her layers weren't cooperating so she is sending me some extra Blue Birchen Marans in that set.

It is really a lot of fun hatching eggs but it is wonderful hatching your own eggs! It makes it feel all worth wild! I have 2 blue Marans chicks out in the brooder tub and 3 just hatched out in the hatcher....I better go see who else is hatching....Oh, and we have lots of red Dorkings and Dominiques hatching too. I am glad I took a break from hatching as it makes it all the more exciting!

I just googled Blue Birchen Marans and they are very beautiful birds--I may be getting hatching eggs from you one day!
