I have some beautiful silver polish I hatched this summer -- people said they culled heavy on these bird and they have the best! Well I hatched a bunch of chicks with these birds so I know it was not an incubation issue but the hen and rooster I hatched from their eggs both have crossed beak issues. They have beautiful markings though!

Do try to get her to pay. She has admitted it was her mistake! Good luck~

On another note, those guinea eggs I pulled from the deserted nest gave me 17 keet so far. I still see movement in 2 more--not sure how that will go as I have not been turning them but they may have been far enough along. I have 2 polish eggs in the bator from this years girls and they have developed veins--yes, I know to early to candle and I usually do not candle this early but they have veins and I could even see movement--I love white eggs! Problem is I do not need more chicks right now! Anyone want a couple polish if they hatch? How about some guinea keets!!

Nope, would not pay to have another shipped and would certainly see about filing charges against her if she refuses to send you a replacement for free. And by golly, let anyone you talk to in private know her name so others are not taken in!

When I ship birds out I make dag gone sure I am sending exactly what they paid for. I photograph them before I sell them to them so they can see them well, I photograph them going into the box and with all the fruit they have in there for the trip and document, document, document. I hate arbitration but have been there so many times that I have learned to be as careful as possible.

I hope you can get this squared away and am so sorry this happened to you!

maybe you could email us all this persons name so we dont run into the same person and problem but it wont be on the thread.. ya know what I mean...

I can't decide if it is really cool or really uncool - I can sort of see it from both ways! I think it IS pretty neat you got a picture and nothing was harmed while doing so

Crazy huh? He/she ended up right next to the fence and that's when I really started to freak. But I was up the hill on my deck and just zoomed in as best I could with my iPhone.

See! Midas is going to get the hang of this protection stuff in another year or so. He knew that bear had not be near his snacks.....er, pets.
