My husband had a name of a guy in Spartanburg. I will see if he knows what he did with the number. There is a 10 hour time difference right now so, I might not hear back until later tonight or tomorrow.I do NOT need any turkeys, haha. However, I would love to find some EEs, pullets, for laying.
Any way to tell if any of those will be available? I tried the site and forum links, but not showing up.![]()
I figured he wanted turkeys after seeing mine. He had lots of plan! I thought it was you this entire time but I think the bug has bit him, as well! I am sure we can set you all up with plenty of great birds!

Glad to be a part of this group. I have been lurking for a few years. Finally made the plunge and have met a few other chicken folk. I posted an intro thread over in the beginners section.
After firing off that smarty question in response to yours, I am at a loss as to how to advise you. Any way you can cover the top? I am hoping to see someone with more knowledge than me advise you about what is best. Good luck.As compared to what?
As compared to running free range. When having more room they have more places to hide and have long distances to "fly" (yes only 3 feet off the ground, but it gives them speed). In a pen they can only go so far before they hit a fence.
