It rained hard for a bit but now it's sunny. The Weather Channel says that Hodges (where my farm is) has had 1/2 inch of rain so far. Not nearly enough. I really hope we get a little more. Really, really hope!

Does anyone near or around Gaffney have or will have baby chicks within a day or two (day old or so) that they are willing to part with. My poor little Bantam Barred rock is still sitting and I want her to have something for all her trouble. I don't need many, or anything fancy. Just 1 or 2 I can slip under her at night so she will be happy. Thanks
