And why is it no one has brought up the 'breakfast/lunch/dinner/supper debate?

I grew up in Indiana, where we had breakfast, lunch, and dinner. So it was very confusing when someone would invite me over for Sunday dinner, yet expect me to be there right after morning services?? Dinner, it seems, in the south is midday, and supper is in the evening

I still don't say it right

Sweet Tea - Iced Tea with sugar
Iced tea - unsweetened and you've given a box of sweet-n-low, sugar, Equal & splenda packets to pick from

Oh and "fetch"!!! My husband is always saying he has to go "fetch" something.

Honey, in NY, the only ones who "fetch" are the dogs. Now that I'm in TN, I'm supposed to "fetch" things too! LOL

you forgot taters instead of potatoes. And another thing that one of my NY friends laughs at me about is when I say breakfast, dinner and supper. Rather than breakfast, lunch and dinner.

And you sho nuff got that right about the sweet tea. LOL

Some of these things I always thought were normal but I guess not. Like the hashbrown thing, I always thought they were shredded until went to a friends and they have them cubed, it was weird.

I also love all fried food. Like twinkies and candy bars, soda, all that good stuff.
