We are growing....

I might show up depends on if my body lets me that day. If I can walk I want to go

I cant say what I would bring only because I need to do head counts. I should have BCM , easter eggers and whatever else I might have hatched by the time. Maybe if onthespots wants to hitch a ride and we can pack up my suv.

OK I know it is a strange things to complain about but I AM ONLY GETTING PULLETS hatching:barnie I dont know i it is waht i am feeding of it is waht i am medicating with, but I have calculated that in the last 60 eggs i have hatched 4 male and 57 pullets!! So at this meet up. I will have 4 serama pullets, 2 mottled one SDW and one funny reverse dalmation colored one. I also have 2 adult hens, they lay well and are fertile, just not what i want in my breeding program, I am PICKY about color and they are not what i am using. If you are interesed please send me a private message and i can send photos. I just need coop space for the chicks that are now hatching from my breeders from florida. i have quite a few chicks in the brooder and about 40 more in the incubater. a

Hopefully there will be somebody interested in regular ole' brown egg layers?? Nothing fancy, no pedigrees....

My chicks- Buff Orps, and Barred Rocks are doing great at 2 weeks old! They are getting lots of organic food, vitamins, and TLC. They have really good weight to them when you pick them up, feathers are coming in nicely. Now that its nice and warm, I can start getting them "out of the brooder", so they are going to be great little started pullets by April 30!

They have been healthy and problem free from the start.

I might have a couple SL Wyandottes, depending upon how they do. These ones had a difficult hatch, and are overcoming some obstacles... My friend hatched them, and I took them home when their problems became evident. I think 3 out of 4 are in the clear after 1.5 weeks, and they are back in general population, I'm still working on the legs of the last one. I am officially a chicken podiatrist now,....and now I'm working on my poultry physical therapy degree. I might as well go back to school and finish a veterinary degree at this point!

I'm really looking forward to the meet up. I can't wait to see all the chickens that everyone brings! I'm interested in quite a few that have been listed, but if I still have lots of chicks that don't sell, then I won't have any space for more

I hope people bring extras, even those that aren't spoken for yet.

I think I said we might go before. We will be there. So that would add 5 with DH, me and the girls. Im not sure what I have to bring yet. Probably some runner ducks, maybe some polish. I should have chicks from the Easter hatch, but Im not sure about traveling with such young chicks. I would also have hatching eggs if anyone is interested PM me. I have bantam WC Black & Cuckoo Polish (frizzled), bantam Buf Polish (frizzled), White Ameraucanas, White Runner Ducks, Grey Call Ducks, and Black Bantam Cochins.

Good luck with the show in Ventura Cara!!!! I would of join you at the show if my #1 boy didn't lose a couple of his tail feathers. Looking forward to meet you at the serama meet-up in Norco.
