Just a thought here and can be tweeked or not even applied
I suggest whoever does a nice donation for the raffle say worth $5.00 or so they receive 5 free enteries then if they want more they can purchase more.
$0.50 piece or 10 for $4.00
Thought it might help with raffle prizes.

My ideas on prizes may include
-well cleaned used equipment,wateres,feeders or things you no longer need but are in good shape-maybe put some rules on washing technique on these
-things we make to eat-jellies,cookies,coffee

things like this
-things we make unedable-soaps,crafts
-chicks (of course)
-things for our animals-sprouts,treats,mealworms things like this

I was tring to hit on things that I know are part of our group already.
I know with my soap I always have extra sitting around waiting to be used.

also what Ive seen before is each raffle item has its own container to collect tickets.so you put your tickets in the container on what you want to win.then someone draws a winner from that container.
each person that is planning on doing a raffle can bring a container for tickets-which also can just be cut up paper pieces.

okay that is my ideas
