Thank you. I figured might be nice to put a face to myself for a change. Never know when I might run into some of you crazy peeps in real life up front and personal.

Thanks for all your good wishes! I have 4 more pullets that are about ready to lay as well. So I have 4 more 1st times to go

Today, Ivy is in the nest box on and off. Violet(also an ameraucana/ee) is hanging with her, keeping watch. What is amazing is how attentive the others are to the one in the nest box. When Ginger laid her egg, Poppy and Daphne were comforting her. Never knew chickens had mid-wives as well.

I keep checking every hour or so on her. Hopefully, a green/blue egg today! Just in time for Easter!

Ivy did a great job!! I now have two egg layers! 3 more to go. Guess they are all wanting to get on the bandwagon! LOL

I will do the same and thank them. However, my 1st words to them were "Are you OK???" and then checked their butts. LOL
