Southern NY, Dutchess county and below

Well, I was brazen enough to call in sick today. Hah, the nerve! Stress, naw, you must be imagining (sp?) it! We have no stress here!
Hope you feel better.
Now to clean cages. And THEN go to bed.

Good for you!! It's good to remind them once in awhile that they can't do without you.

I'm afraid if I call in sick the whole class will have a collective nervous breakdown!

Suzanne, oh no, not you too! Stay ahead of it and take whatever you need to keep it at bay. I can understand the stress being a contributor. Hopefully the little darlings will cooperate today. Feel better.

Roberta, you really must not be feeling well to call in today. Not wanting to lecture you bout next time call out sick at the first sign. No one ever appreciates when you go the extra mile and come in when you are sick. They do get mad when the work can't get done cause you are not there, though.

Looks like this whole thread is becoming a contagion breeder.

Take good care and feel better.

Rich, so the first thing Allan says to me at my appointment today, is, "hey, you got chickens?" I cracked up! What a small world. So you know where The rest of the conversation drifted to.

He is a great guy and doctor. Even more so with knowing he's into the feathered friends.

LOL LOL LOL. I had a feeling you were seeing Alan. He is a great guy and doctor. We went to high school together. He bought the house across the street from us a few years back. His wife liked our chickens and the idea of fresh eggs so they got some this spring. Yea it is a small world. I hope you are feeling better.
