As long as you don't lose to big, it's Good to get out and have some fun. My brother goes up to the reservations quite a bit. He's done alright the last few times. Comes home with a couple hundred and feels like he had a good time. I never got the bug to gamble. I'm afraid if I did the chickens wouldn't be getting fed anymore.

Gotta save the scratch for chicken feed!

Looking forward to a rainy day to work on my classroom. I decided to start thinking of it as MY classroom. I can't do the best for my kiddies if I have one hand on the doorknob...

Bobby installed some of the chicken wire yesterday because the chicks are still escaping into the front yard. And now both Gladys and Aggie are hanging out on a low branch of a tree near the escape point. I'm hoping they're just keeping an eye on things and not planning their own breakout. After the chicken wire, we're putting in a machine gun turret.

Al, I hope you're doing okay. We're thinking of you.

Watch those girls closely. I have read that chickens do conspire. They will joint forces to dig under a fence.

Doing alright today. Waiting for the results of the the MRI.

Glad you are thinking of the classroom as yours.

Good morning, everyone.

Just got the good news from the neurologist. No aneurysm!!!! Just a congenital defect who's is nothing to worry about.

I'm going to have to crack open a bottle of champagne tonight.

Thanks to you all for being so supportive, helpful, and just plain wonderful. It is nice to have found friends here.

That's great news Al. I was going to unsubscribe to this thread because I haven't the time to read through all of it, but came upon your scary saga and wanted to see if everything turned out well, so glad it did!

Morning All!

I just spent some time reading through all the post's I've missed....lots to read up on!
All I'm glad to hear your MRI was good news, sorry about your pup.
Good news for me......
I finally am getting eggs! My first egg was on Sunday, and my second yesterday. Not sure who the layer is, but I suspect it is one of my RIR's or RSL. Those are the only two of the 11 that looked ready to lay. I have already been out there twice to check the boxes today, but no one is in there. I am thrilled they even started at all! They are 19 weeks today and I was thinking I'd start seeing eggs this spring!
