Well, I'm out for next weekend's show in Massachusetts ... just realized I have concert tix for Saturday night. Too bad -- now that everyone is settled in and getting along, I was looking forward to adding another pair of chickens to the flock!

Morning, everyone. Nice and sunny up here, and we're actually going to get up to 52 degrees. You guys in LI should be looking at it getting close to 60, you lucky chickens.

Suzanne, not a good idea to check on the ladies without shoes, especially when you're sick. I've done the PJ routine a couple of times myself. Most mornings I'm out there in slippers and a Tshirt. Not too bright on a 15 degree morning.

Hope you feel better and get over that stomach bug today.

Al, I always wear some sort of footwear to check on the chickens. Chicken poop may be great fertilizer, but I'm not too keen on having in squish between my toes!

I got up and showered and dressed and we went out to breakfast. (Just oatmeal for me.) I'm back in bed now.
