Suzanne, great car! We have an '06, same color too, but 2 door and it has been great on everything from gas mileage to reliability.

Congratulations, and enjoy it!

Yes, it's cold!
Maybe that's what my girls needed.
After 3-4 eggs a day, today we got 11.
I guess they had nothing else to do except sit inside to stay warm and.....lay eggs!
But they really do need to step it up.

Right now the outside temp is 16 degrees, and it's 17.6 in the coop. Yup, it's cold out there. Hope the girls handle it well. Got 5 eggs from 6. Somebody ain't doin' their job! They won't give up the slacker either!

2 for 2 today.

My Blue Cochin bantam layed her first two eggs yesterday and today! Maybe they like the cold? Though I have mine locked in the coop the last two nights so I don't have to worry about frost-bitten combs. Heat bulb thermostat keeps my tiny coop between 38 and 48 degrees. Looking forward to letting them out for the next several days starting tomorrow.
