ya wouldn't know it seeing me now!
I still have the Precision bass, and Marshall amp to prove it.

Thanks for the wishes, Al.

Yippee, now DH and I are spending quality time together.

Was kinda funny having him bring pizza home last nite.
At least it stayed inside the box when he dropped it on the floor, so it didn't get dirt in it.
Yippee.

Mass girls are running free. Its so funny to watch them. They move as one unit.I put the latest babies in the cozy coop. I'll have to get pics today.Suzanne, I might have an extra girl depending on how many girls there are.

Good morning, and happy Saturday! Heat wave again today, I'm considering the beach, or hiding in my house.

The Zebra show was really fun, but the bike trip there was not without incident. Apparently I didn't drink enough, or it was just THAT HOT, but I dehydrated-badly. Very scary. We had just gotten onto the Cross Island and I got that black fog in my peripheral vision. I put my head down (On a moving motorcycle) and dug my nail into my gums to clear my head, and it didn't work. I told him to pull over or I was going to fall off the bike. We pulled over and I went off the bike pretty much head first. I got up and staggered to the grassy area and just laid down. I felt like I was going to throw up, then realized my hands were tightening up almost like a palsy position. I was slurring my words, and it was incredibly scary. I started feeling a tiny bit better since it was shady-I couldn't buckle my helmet, or put my glasses on, he had to do it, and he managed to get us to a deli in Glen Oaks. (We used to live there) I sat on the sidewalk in the shade, shaking and still slurring my words. Drank a HUGE bottle of water, and we proceeded to Belmont. When I got there, it started happening again, and I was having trouble breathing. We got into the park, and a fireman my husband knows stopped him and started chatting. WTH?? So I just crawled over to a tree and sat down. He ditched the guy, and he went to where our friends were to get me water. our group was maybe 50 yards into the park, and it took me 3 stops to get there. My BIL told me I looked like poop, my face was so red it looked to be on fire. It took me another 3 bottles of water and some lemonade for some sugar to get me back to pale like I normally am. I didn't really move the whole time. I sat there and drank water and ate a few pieces of chicken and salad. I didn't even move when Zebra came on, but luckily they were just about 20 yards away!
It was fun, and pretty amusing. My younger BIL got wasted and he was dancing and singing-all 6'5" of him. That was when I told DH it was time to start thinking of leaving. If he fell on me I'd be killed.

A few of our other friends over drank as well, and it was funny. We could laugh and enjoy them since they all had rides home, or live so close they could walk home. We've grown up considerably since our last visit to Belmont for a picnic (15 years ago)

It was just a very scary day though. I am normally very athletic, and pretty healthy. (Knock wood) so I am not used to being ill. My husband was worried because I'm usually the one taking care of everyone, and in situations like that-I'd normally be the one to be caring for the victim, not being the victim. Ugh, from now on I'm packing water in the bike. I don't know where, but it will be required.

Rosie, that's very scary stuff. If that happens again please get yourself to the emergency room. You may have also been low on electrolytes. Carry a banana and some Gatorade too next time.

Glad that you are okay now. Stay inside and soak up the A/C. And stay hydrated!
