I just dropped my son at football practice. I'm going to go have an x-ray on my hand this morning-it's not getting any better-it's getting worse, and I'd like to just find out what the heck the problem is. I swear-I'm falling apart!

I hit 45 and it hit back. HARD!!!

My middle son has practice tonight, so I'll be cooking an early dinner. The season of 4pm dinners has begun. By the time football season ends, the kids are starving by 4 and drive me nuts when I try to make dinnertime back to 6. Creeps.

My husband is going to be hanging a light inside the hen house soon, since I'd like to extend lying through the winter, so it will go on at 4am, and stay lit until 8 pm. That should be enough light, right? I can't wait until my little girls are old enough to lay-they're about 16-17 weeks old, so it should be soon!!

Ooooh!!! I'm going to really try to go! I've got a score to settle with those fish that didn't bite!! I'd like to also go Tuna fishing in September-they usually catch tons-last time my husband went-he brought home 65 pounds of yellow fin. The boat splits the whole catch. That's some GOOOOOOOD FISH!

I'll have to ask him, but it was out of Montauk, and they go out FAR into the ocean. You should have seen me with my foodsaver-hours of weighing and bagging and air sucking. It was FABULOUS!

I'd have to buy a little freezer if he brought home 65 lbs. of fish but it would pay for itself in 1 haul.LOL

What ended up happening with necklace? NOT that I have room, though!

You caught me in the midst of TOTAL belief in the power of Chicken-Fairy-Godmother to wave her handy dandy magic wand. She's going to swing by my house and make Necklace DISAPPEAR !

(Roberta is taking some of her unwanted chickens to a farm upstate and she's going to add Necklace to that bunch.).

No date set as yet, but I'm hoping soon, soon, soon.

Well, we're back. I slept like a brick last night. So much driving over the last few days. But it was an awesome trip. Niagara Falls never gets old. It's simply amazing. We went on the Maid of the Mist and climbed the Crows Nest on the side of the American Falls. It will be months before my sneakers are dry!

I'll share pics later.

My little girls got so big while we were away! Still no crowing from Leon, but it should be soon.
