Southern NY, Dutchess county and below

Good news, my stone passed today! I really do think the ACV helped. I'm still foggy from the meds and can't wait to be up and moving. The urologist said I should start felling better tomorrow.
We were planning on attending the DC fair tomorrow, but it will have to wait till later in the week when I can handle all the walking. What is the name of your daughters pony? I will look for it in the 4H barn.
Good for you Tina!

Organic veggies for the chickens.
Ok I'll eat a little too.

oo, lovely! Did you grow these?

My garden suffered some dissapointing results this year. My Kale was ravished by some smal near invisible parasite....m,y Rhubarb wilted and dies early on.
Now my zuccini/squash are rebounding.....grape tomatoes both yellow and red are wowzer flourishing, and heirloom doing very good as well.
Next year somefood dehydrator so I can dry my herbs and fruits/jerky etc. for future reference.I see a big savings buying in season and prcessing fruits/veggies 1 way or another.

Looks like tomorrow I adopt some 2 week old peeps from a friend. A delaware....an buff orpington and a black silkie. All my peeps ages as of right now so no problems there.

Rosie is her name, she has a handmade stall plaque with her name on it. She is a flea bitten gray. Tomorrow is 4-H, and then the open Dutchess County fair show until Friday, Make sure you introduce yourself!

Hope you are feeling better!

Congratulations, Tina. Did you hand out cigars?

Seriously, so glad you're feeling better. We may head up to the DCF on Saturday. Although I'm a little "faired out".

I scored some beautiful yarn at my local thrift shop yesterday. Because I needed more yarn. But I paid only $3.50 for 7 skeins of Jamie baby yarn. And $7 for a ton of a really nice beigy flecked yarn that will make a nice shawl or poncho. And even though I paid $7 for only two balls of a heavyweight smooth cotton yarn that's almost like a thread, it is a gorgeous purple and fun to work with.

I wish I could make a living doing this...

Make cotton dish cloths to sell and I will buy them. Just got 6 more on ebay. They last for like 2 years and are the BEST scrubbers. Use as face cloths as well. I pay $1.50 for mine but they sell for more and less. Check out the listings and you will see all you need to know.

I also use them in my holiday gift baskets. I give jams/pickles/kitchen handmade items like pieced oven and microwave mits etc. I also buy goats milk soaps for baskets. Everyone really likes the home made stuff anymore.

I'm a little late here but glad to hear the stone passed. I can't figure out if it's mind over matter, but that ACV does something to the stone. I don't know why the olive oil, though. I'm sure there has to be a reason. It is hard to keep that oil down under the best of circumstances.

Hope you don't get anymore stones again. Feel better.
