It's up there. between Utica and Syracuse. I may have to just take the ride. I wouldn't mind it, but it's a 10-12 hr round trip.
I'll be out if town and can't help out, sorry. It would probably be cheaper for you to ship the bird, than to drive it...
Know any local kids that attend Syracuse? Maybe you can stick it in the back of their van on a trip home to wash their clothes at Mom's house, lol

oh...I must be missing something.. yes for me on the roo. There is a roo on the eastern end of long island..I would like to get him to upstate also.I am going down to wappinger falls next month. It is a young one ..so small..ate you near wappinger falls? Or know any one near then end of long island? Thanks!

Good morning everyone... I don't like waking up in darkness...AS THE CROWING CONTINUES...I am losing my mind.
Yesterday while I was out I got a message on my phone from my neighbor Lois, that my chickens are making a terrible noise ,not a "cluck cluck cluck " She sent her husband over to check it out.they thought an animal was getting them or one was stuck or hurt. Frank, her husband said they all came running up to him as if he was going to give them a treat. Charlotte the one doing all the squawking calmed down when he came in the yard. Either she was doing her happy egg laying song or had a problem with the guys working on the rail road . After I got home I brought them some eggs. Frank was so funny, he wanted to know what was wrong with the white chicken that was making all the noise. First of all she is dirty from the dirt baths she takes and second she is a Nake Neck.He grew up with chickens so he just loved them. He said I never have to worry if I'm not home that he can help them. He's a doll. I just hope all the other neighbors were at work or had there windows closed.

Someone was doing a LOUD and LONG egg song this morning. I suspect Aggie.
FINALLY painted the coop door yesterday. It looks so great! I also planted some small yellow mums in the window boxes. It looks so quaint. Or did, until Wanda jumped her fluffy butt into one of the window boxes and crushed a plant on one side. No sense of aesthetics!
I'm babysitting Laura's boyfriend's nephew today. All day. I'm really looking forward to it. He's such a cutie pie. Not quite 2 y.o. Bobby's afraid I'm gonna start wanting grandchildren now. Duh. I already want them.
Every day I enjoy being home more and more. I just need to set up a few more tutoring clients and I'll be golden.
