Hi everyone. Things here are ok. Been busy baking Xmas cookies. Cleaned the coop today. The girls are getting so big. A bunch of new egg layers I think the orpingtons. I keep finding eggs all over the yard and under bushes. Time to train them. Unfortunately the girls that lay in the boxes have stopped for the winter. The CL chick is doing well. She is still inside. I tried to put her out with the flock but she's not big enough to hold her own against them and mom didn't protect her so after a good beat down I had to bring her back in. She is ok though just some picked feathers and scrapes. I bring the silkie (mom) in every night to keep her company. Ugh.

From a computer animation design school in Montreal. I guess these are the guys that go on to make armies of Orcs attacking Elves?

Anyway, don't be embarrassed about falling for it, the only reason I got suspicious was that Golden Eagle's range does not extend to Montreal, plus it was way too dark/black to be one. Bird Nerd training strikes again.....
