High winds with occasional snow flakes falling .......temps not too bad right now but I suppose tonight will tell the true story.

Heather I made breaded/fried pork chops 2 nights ago with a side of apple sauce for dipping and Kasha with sautéed celery/onion/mushrooms....wine of course.
10 of them disappeared by morning between 4 people.

I seldom ever fry food so when I do the gremlins come out at night and eat when no-body is looking it.

Oh my peep urge is coming on strong with the approach of spring. Yesterday the Agway south of me in NJ listed they got salmon favorelles , black and red sex links.

I know, we went from not going to get anything to the current 9 inches and counting (looks like it is actually going to pick up around 12 for a while). The girls are all mad at me now. They had been out ranging the last few days. Today I opened the door and got 28 sets of stink eye. Side note: There needs to be an emoticon for a stink eye chicken.

Hi all, I'm away on what is supposed to be vacation in Williamsburg, VA. But we picked up my son from college in PA who promptly came down with the raging flu. Took him to Urgent Care here and the next day we had to go back with Lindsey. When I get home i'm going to need a vacation! LOL

Our incubator is at Brinsea being looked at and we have hatching eggs due to arrive next week. Does anyone have an empty incubator that I could borrow?

Got my shoveling in for the year. I actually missed the snow while I was in Florida. The snow was so beautiful. Got heavy as the day warmed up so I was happy I got out there early. The girls were entertained watching me shovel my way out to them.

But they made the oddest noise as I pulled off the snow from the roof. Its smokey polycabonate and I guess it looked wierd from inside.

That all stayed melted so the chihuahuas were also appreciative.

Still so happy to be home.
