Priority mail is 2 or 3 days right?
I think these eggs have been scrambled poked prodded and x-rayed, and maybe even abducted by aliens because they even went missing for a day.

I heard aliens like their eggs poached not fertilized.

Well so much for my Arucanas??? One has a tail. Someones been in the hen house that's not suppose to be there.

Got a call from Loretta this morning. She fell in front of an emergency / doc in the box. Broke her wrist . Called me to come help her 'cause her husband was working. She went into the doc in the box and they asked her if she had an appointment. When she said she didn't have insurance, they wanted to know if they could call an ambulance for her. Another patient came up to me and gave me her # telling me if I needed to contact her about how they neglected to help her. We'd world we live in.

That's absolutely horrid. I'd be so angry! I can't see why they wouldn't help her-honestly, these days, doctors get hardly a dime any way from insurance-this might be a few bucks out of pocket, and they're DOCTORS. Hippocratic oath and all...

Hi Carol, Your seeds arrived yesterday, thank you. :)

Aruacanas can have a combination of every type. Rumpless with a clean face or 1 or both tufts......double tufted (or single tufted) with a tail ....they never breed out true is what I was told. It's the luck of the draw. That's why everyone wants that elusive rumpless with double tufts. But getting one to hatch out using parent stock having all those traits makes for a 50-50 hatch rate.
But maybe you already know all this if I know you.

One word: LAWSUIT!! "Can we call you an ambulance?" "No, you can get me a lawyer." Let me know. I know people...

Did she trip on their sidewalk ??

So I gave my Cochin 10 welsummer eggs last night. Today I see 5 eggs in front of her. I shoved them back under her. If I see them out again I guess I'll put in my bator. Maybe 10 is too much for her? She's a big girl /shrug. Someone on the broody hen thread said a Cochin can sit 10 eggs with a good hatch rate. Maybe she knows those eggs are duds??
