I'm glad that part of the drama is behind me. It was weighing on me even though I tried not to let it. Now it's back to chicken stuff and getting back to work. Hopefully, in a day or two the arthritis will have settled down enough to go back to work. Not that I feel like working again after being home so long. Definately not going to work until 65. Early retirement is closer to reality. Maybe a small farm...

Seriously, I'm so glad everything worked out okay. You really have been through enough. Enough for three people, let alone one!

We kept the girls cooped up today because no one was home. I just let them out for a bit. They must have been bored - they turned over two food dishes and knocked down the sensor for the digital thermometer. Yikes.

I set up the temp sensor in the coop and have the inside gizmo on the fridge. The thing works great. If they knocked yours down you should mount it higher up. Ours is four feet off the floor.

Still sick (of work). Was driving in last Friday, heard on the radio about the whooping cough outbreak in Smithtown.
Yeah, so guess where I work? I called my Dr.'s office, and ask if I am just overreacting, or should I come in.....?
"If you don't feel better by Monday, come in." I've been coughing for 3 weeks, and missed a week of work. Hmmm, let me think this one out....
If I don't get better in 2 days...I am really starting to get annoyed.
So I stayed home today. 50th birthday. Did absolutely nothing. But they planned a yearly event for tonite, and I am sick of working 16 hrs for them with no overtime.
Yeah, yeah...since I am a comissioned employee, no overtime. This is how THEY get rich, not me!
