Southern NY, Dutchess county and below

No, I haven't gotten any paint. YET.
What I was trying to say is if you want to hitch a ride, it's just we will be there for 2 nites.
Maybe someone else has room for a day trip?
It would be cool to meet some more of you guys.
It's right over the border of CT, easy trip.

And if you could find me another TDI VW, I know they are very hard to find, I'd be interested!

Morning guys, sounds like chicken math's gone wild on here. I can see a day when there are so many chicken raisers they wont be able to keep the limits as ridiculously low as they do now. There are a lot of stealth chicken heads around here, and I know the feed stores all carry plenty of chicken feed. They ain't feeding to to their dogs!

I just wish we had more property to have a rooster and some show birds. As much as I hate the cold, moving upstate still has it hold on me. Now, if I can convince the other half...

It's Operation Santa day in my neighborhood. That means the fire trucks have been buzzing my house to harass Laura (she's not scheduled to ride until this afternoon). The dog just learned how to howl and is now practicing.
Finally, something louder than the chicken squawking coming from the backyard...

Al, you need some chicken math to figure out how to be more than 1/2 in your house!!

What is a TDI VW? I have a partner in crime that might want to make a day trip to sringfield show. I will google it and see details. Eddie Travers (Taunton Ma.) very knowledgeable silkie guy from way back when I first joined BYC way back in 2001 or so. We had a few computers brake and lost track of BYC for a while. I also remember Wes from Tx. that you could ask any thing about chickens.

So, if you consider going to the show, I'm going, unless there is a blizzard.
But my car goes thru anything. Vera is coming with me.
I am sharing my room with Mary from Sussex County Poultry Assoc., (Mame1616) here on BYC.
Vera couldn't make up her mind, so she got her own room later on.
I heard it was realy cold last year, so I bought a box each of hand and toe warmers from Costco.
Smkchick (Suzanne) is planning on coming up for a day.
Gfletch (George) is also considering.
So if anybody needs a break, we can warm up in the room, bathroom break, nap, clothing change, whatever.
I am also picking up chicks, so I will have a cooler and heating pad setup for my new babies.
I may be working the MCCA (Marans Chicken Club) table, I haven't met anyone there, but it's a start.
The motel is "within walking distance" YEP, we'll see about that...
I will be showing Silkies, Marans, and a Shamo. (hopefully)
Vera has just Silkies.
Getting there Fri afternoon, and staying til Sunday.
