Southern NY, Dutchess county and below

Welcome Tony; I'm in East Islip. I have 6 (wish I had more) My gardens look like a maximum security prison with all the fencing to keep my destructo chicks out. Welcome again

Vera wore her shirt this weekend. Al, if we get together, you must be there, too.
You are responsible for this thread, and all the friendships because if it!

So I'm mapquesting the mileage to Sussex and my wife says, "what day is it on?" of course, you know it has to be the same day as our son's fiancé's wedding shower. The thing is that it was on.y 75 miles or so away and it would have taken under 2 hours to get there. Maybe the next one we'll make.

He already fixed it. It was done when I got home from work. Replaced the 1x2s and flashing. Took down the gutter, which I think we're going to live without. The downspout was directing the water into a corner of the garden. Now the water will just run down into the driveway, which is fine.

Here's Blanche, 10 days old. She still has that orange ink from the hatchery.

And Mabel, with her speckled feathers coming in.

And the lovely Lola, the roundest chick I've ever seen.

I thought men weren't allowed to go to those things. You would have a much better time with a bunch of chicken women. I'm trying to see if i can go.
