Not having a great evening. Dropped a bottle of vitamins into the toilet just as it was flushing. Down it went, oooops. Then I forgot I took a xanax and just took another. I wasn't sure I took 2 but judging by how loopy I feel all of a sudden, I guess I did. If I don't wake up in the morning, I'm leaving you all my chickens...

18 years sober. This is not a comfortable feeling.

That is not a fun evening. I am sure you will wake, maybe later than normal, but you will wake. The LD50 for alprazolam is extremely high. That said, it is good the you are not using alcohol with your xanax... feel better.

First congrats on your sobriety. You'll feel a little out of it tomorrow but you'll be OK.At least your plumbing will have its daily dose of B-12

My chickens are screaming bloody murder but I'm not going to make the same mistake I did last week and let them out before the guy comes to cut the grass.The young girls thought I released Godzilla into the back yard .They were running around like chickens without heads( I know that's bad) I'll have to wait till 7:30 to see if he is coming today in the mean time I'm sure I'll hear about it from the neighbors.

Actually my 18th passed in October, so I can say I'm coming up on 19! (So much for one day at a time...)

Yes, I probably have the healthiest cesspool on Long Island.

And yes, I am out of it this morning. I feel like there's a Cadillac parked in my skull. An old one. A big Eldorado that gets about 5 miles per gallon. Thank God Fridays are fairly easy for me. My kids are out of the classroom for the first two periods and then there's only 1 period til lunch. By then I should be a little more alert.

I love direct depost. Got my paycheck and paid all the utility bills before I even got my sorry, sluggish butt out of bed. I didn't let the girls out first thing and when I looked out the window, there they all were giving me the stink eye from their new front windows. I can see why Hitchcock made "The Birds". They get that pteryadactyl look about them and I want to run.

I had to laugh about the reference to "The Birds." My brother wouldn't even get near our chickens when he visited. I asked him, why not? He said he skeeved them and had visions of them pecking his eyes out, like in the movie. Not all the world loves chickens.

Today I am playing around with a label/logo for our house/farm/eggs for sale. What do you think? I was thinking of calling it "Area 51 Farms" but was thinking people might be ascared away.
