Southern NY, Dutchess county and below

Not on for the evening and I have 39 posts to read.I love it.

Welcome Maxx; My husband lived in Bullville (yes Bullville) and his dad work in Elenville for Swift and Co. Probably not even there and longer. I went to OCCC. This thread is great fun and yes very addicting...I'm sure you'll find chicks to fill that coop.

SMK... Just don't let your baby sleep in bed with you.... Some pediatricians frown on that...
I love her little yellow chin. you're such a good mom

Anybody have any picks for the Derby today???

Out to see if my NN has left me an egg...

I wonder what people would think fifty years from now if we put this thread in a time capsule .....
We're having a Derby party tonight and I put a $2 Exacta box on Union Rags & Bodemeister. But if I were going on names alone, I like "I'll have another.." for the chicken math ness of it!

Jeanett, I'm sure I'll have room for a box, another person...NO way.
So if ya want, I can transport back for you.
Brought up taking DHs manly van. He looked very strange.
Maybe I should rent a u-haul. We are going to TSC afterwards.....

I am really, really glad all you guys started in on the whole incubator project ahead of me so I can see how HARD it is! Lol, I don't think I'll be doing that for a long, long time, as in when the girls have left for college and I'm feeling severe empty nest syndrome. Good luck with the second batch Suzanne, I hope this one works out better. I LOVE your chicken necklace though, it is just too sweet. "Madam, is your jewelry peeping?"

I'm putting money on I'll have another but for a totally different reason--TEQUILA

I walk around all day in my Derby hat .People think I've lost my mind. I lived across from Church Hill Downs when I wast a child.Pretty much lived every where. I'm an Army brat My dad was in the Army for 26 years. (My brother was in the Air Force for 22). One of my earliest childhood memories was sitting on top of the refrigorator with my brother John(He was holding my brother Alex) Finally some men camp with a boat ;up to our door and took us away.I remember driving along and seeing pigs on top of roofs of small buildings. We lost everything . We never went back. One day I will get to the derby. Something is drawing me back there. SORRY for being such a downer..
