We are definitely going to the NJ fair tomorrow, even bringing extra kids and friends. We probably won't get there until after lunch though based on when we have to leave NY. If anyone is going PM me and I'll give you my cell.

We went to my mom's this afternoon to trim some branches for her. I was holding one back while Bobby sawed through it.  Break out the AFV cameras, folks.  The branch cut loose and I fell backwards right flat on my back.  It was seismic.  I shook it off so as not to worry my mother, but I'm hurting now.  The small of my back, right above the padded part.  I can't wait 'til tomorrow!

To top things off, my fortune cookie at dinner was empty.  Like I didn't already know my future is doomed...

My mother was cute, though.  She greeted me at the door with a bowl of cherry tomatoes from the plant I gave her.

Thanks, Al. It started to feel a little better moving around today. Now I'm in bed and it's hurting more.

Hello all,

Just found this thread, and being a Dutchess County resident, I wanted to reach out and give a big hello! I am new to chicken ownership, have 10 adorable little girls out in my feed room of my horse barn, and they are all doing happy, and healthy things. I am a total newbie, and have found BYC so very useful. Hope you don't mind me asking questions from time to time, as I need so much guidance it isn't funny! Hope you are all well, and look forward to connecting with you all.
