Solar hatched last night. He was brown as well. Eclipse literally just hatched! I watched him zip the shell. He is brown as well. Star has pipped! Brown: 6 Black:3

I just watched Star hatch! He is brown as well! His head was sticking out from under his momma and the other chicks were coming over and pecking him on his head so I tucked him back under her. Meanwhile, two of my broody hens are having an egg war. They keep stick their heads under one another and taking each other's eggs!

Lunar has pipped! Eleven chicks: here we come!

Lunar hatched! Yet another brown chick to add to the bunch...

Nova has pipped!! I am SHOCKED!

Nova hatched! Yet another brown chick! Galaxy has pipped and I will check again in the morning. I only have one egg left, and I doubt it will hatch... I guess 13 is the lucky number!

Galaxy has hatched! A tenth brown chick! Comet was the only one not to hatch So sad...
