Speckle Sussex deformed egg, now not laying

2wks ago my husband & I pulled out a deformed, non-formed egg from our Speckle Sussex.
Since then she has not layed any eggs. She is eating, drinking & pooping okay.
Any suggestions greatly appreciated.
