Speckled Sussex Question

At what age will I be able to tell, for certain, by appearance, what sex my Speckled Sussex are?

Generally between 6-8 weeks the boys will develop a pink reddish comb. The chest feathers should come in a bit darker between 2-3 months I believe.

Mine are 6.5 weeks old... I will show you a photo of them.. They were 6 weeks old here

Give them a couple more weeks as things can change, but currently I see nothing male, though they aren't a breed I'm real familiar with as I've only had 2.

I do have a known cockerel the same age, but he is a Welsummer, so it is difficult to compare him to them bc they are different breeds.

As of now yes. I realized mine was a cockerel at week 4. His comb grew so fast and turned red very quickly. Then his waddles started growing. His behavior is different as well. I have 8 chicks and I believe 3 are cockerels. The speckled Sussex and 2 buff Orpingtons. The 3 fight all the time. They don't bother the pullets just each other.
