Sounds like a great set up to me. So the ducks live with the chickens? I have a neighbor who has her ducks in with her chickens, too.
Yeah but I'm moving them to their own area. They irritate squatch. The two females keep trying to mate with him and he tries to get away from them 😂 I have a Drake too and don't want him with my chickens in the spring.

Yes, my neighbor says her drake is trying to mate with the hens too. I don't think that's a good thing at all.

Why do they choose to to that it’s crazy. They were shivering
I don't know for sure. I don't think mine like being cooped up during the day, so we put up a big tent structure for them outside, about 12' x 4', and the australorps and RIRs use it. They are the princesses, and like their feathers dry, but my BOs just don't seem to care about being wet.
