Spots on combs

Hello chicken family. I noticed these spots on some of my flocks combs. This is our first year of 8. We are in NC and it is getting colder but not enough for any frostbite. I have been observing a bit more squabbling over food lately though. My main concern are the white spots. Any opinions and advice is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Those just look like peck marks.

Maybe it’s not showing up in the pics. But combs can get scuffed and scraped. To me, those look like peck marks.
