How's your little one doing @MarlyMonster

He’s still not great when it comes to moving around but he’s healthy otherwise! I posted a little update in my original thread about the double yolk experiment with a prototype for a shoe I made him. His legs started getting worse though so I had to resort to hobbling him in attempt to save his legs, cuz he’s at the point where he sometimes can’t even walk and just has to crawl. So I made him hobbles out of soft pajama elastic for around his thighs to keep his legs from sliding all the way out, and I’m working on a pair for around his ankles too. Not the greatest solution but so far it seems to work the best, cuz he’s putting way too much pressure on his good leg and I don’t want him to end up completely unable to use either. Will eventually add shoes once he’s more stable and hopefully take one of the hobbles away

It’s the least I can do, I brought him into this world so I feel it’s my fault he’s like this

As sad as it is, I’ve thought about the fact that he needed assistance and I’m guessing it’s because of his birth defect. He wouldn’t have hatched if I hadn’t helped, so it may have been nature’s way of managing it. I intervened so it’s my responsibility to help him the best I can
