I just found out about your mother since I have been having issues using this site. I'm so sorry to hear. My prayers are with you.

To correct my problem I was told to unsubscribe and then re subscribe so that is what I have done. The only thing is I was unable to use my old name baustin and my e-mail address. I am now using desertwillow and my photo is my avatar for now. Please everyone realize I have not left. Maybe I can edit the original post and that will help. At this point I don't know if this will correct the problem. I may have created a monster. I will check in and not wait for notification so I am not out of the loop completely.

Thank you Betty! I am also not getting notifications but the unsubscribe resubscribe thing did not work for me. I tried everything that was suggested but no one mentioned the changing screen name fix to me. I hope it works for you.

BTW I love the new screen name. Desert Willow is a very pretty screen name.

Well, it didn't work for me either. It hasn't unsubscribed me. I can still log on with my old name and e-mail address. Now I'm in here twice. I'll keep the desertwillow I think as that's what I use on The Easy Garden. Come to think about it I'm not getting anything from them either. It worked fine in the beginning and then all of a sudden it quit. Maybe I'll call my server and see if they've blocked it in some way. They're local and I can talk to a live person or drop by the office. There is a tree called desert willow. They bloom all summer. I have four of them on the property and they're so pretty in their pale pinks to magenta. The humming birds love them also. Maybe I should use a photo of one for my new avatar if this ever gets itself straightened out.

I sure hope they get the bugs worked out soon. Yes I'm very familiar with the Desert Willow tree. A very pretty tree when it blooms. Family grew it in Arizona but I haven't tried it here in the high desert yet. I doubt it would survive the hard freezes.

Well I think I'm getting closer to starting my squares. LOL!!! After picking my DD up from school yesterday we went to JoAnn's for her to look at patterns & material. I looked at all their pretty yarn while she looked at patterns. I saw some really pretty "cool colored" yarn. Unfortunately I didn't have my coupon mailers w/ me, so I didn't purchase any.

I need to start mine too. Been working on a couple of patterns but haven't gotten them to the right size yet. That's the hardest part though. Once that's done they will crank out pretty quickly. I can't post photos either since my main computer is down and all the software is on that one and this ancient laptop doesn't have the memory for it. I sure enjoy seeing pics of everyone else's squares though.
