White is considered a cool color,, why is everyone worrying about white?

Quite a few of ours have a lot of white in them. Will this be a problem? I was going by cool colors.
Oh I like your idea of how you will connect your squares. I'm not sure how I will tie all mine together. I will have to wait and see and put them all out together and arrange them in different combos. LOL!! I have a bunch of squares from past swaps and haven't connected any of them to make anything. I was going to make a hodgepodge BYC afghan will all my swaps, but not sure now.Not for me. I intend to go around all the squares with the traditional black and this ties them all together. If I were doing all the squares myself then my colors would all be the same and a more themed afghan would be possible but since there are multiple squares and crocheters and colors I think one central color to all squares would be better. Think Easter and Spring and what colors those two things bring to mind and for me a gardener it's Easter Lillies and snow drops and crocus and hyicinths and light green new grass and chocolate covered marshmallow easter bunnies. Oops sorry.
Anyhow white works for me. But then this is not my call. I suppose a nice Spring themed garden magazine would give some good ideas, but then I didn't start this swap.
That's why I said it's best to say this is the yarn and these are the colors. Lord have mercy you should have seen the colors some chose for the Knitting thing at church. People have different tastes and lets face it Olive green with light blue? I don't think so. So now Sister Trudy just buys all the yarn and we pay her for our skeins and knit our own patterns.
I had my fashionista DD match up my colors so they went together, but then I'm a guy.
Have a nice day,
Rancher
You are so awesome to make so many beautiful squares to donate to give out of the pure enjoyment of crocheting. What a saint! Thank you so much for all your hard contributed work. Your squares are beautiful! Good luck on closing! Just PM Betty to get her address. Let me know if you don't hear from her, b/c I still might have it from the Fall swap. Yes, I will enjoy receiving everyone's squares. I always do no matter what the theme is. It's like Christmas or B-day when the the swaps arrive! The swap could have as easily been called the Cool Color Swap. Purple, Blue and green were chosen and a little white approve. I wouldn't worry about missing some spring flowers. Maybe next year we'll include daffodils and crocuses but for now we've gotten pictures of some gorgeous purple, blue and green squares, some with a little white. I think we (y'all, I'm not on the receiving end) will be happy with what we get.
That being said, we close today! Is our final count 21? I've got 63 squares (three sets) bagged and tagged and ready to go. Writer will get 7 pink or pink & purple ones, 8 leftover swap squares.
How do we get Betty's address?
I lost one, she was worried because all of her squares had a lot of white or mainly white with purple, green, etc. trim. So it's me and 3 for a total of 4.
That's a bummer! Are you sure she is dropping? I thought Betty said white was ok??? You should encourage her to stay, esp if she has a lot of the square finished already.
