Spring Granny Square Swap

Well, today is the day. I am officially closing the swap. Please PM me with your addresses and remember to place each of your blocks in a bag with your name on it and send return postage. I thank everyone for your help and contribution to the swap. We should get some lovely blocks. I am sending out PM's today to see if everyone is still in the swap so we should have a final tally soon. Betty

I lost one, she was worried because all of her squares had a lot of white or mainly white with purple, green, etc. trim. So it's me and 3 for a total of 4.

I'd be glad to take one with white it's not a big deal to me. You can always tag it for me. Now I do have to ask, do you want these rose squares I started out with?

That being said, we close today! Is our final count 21? I've got 63 squares (three sets) bagged and tagged and ready to go. Writer will get 7 pink or pink & purple ones, 8 leftover swap squares.

Yes we would still love to have them! The kids were looking at videos today on how to put them all together and oh boy is this going to be fun lol! I don't know how to do it either!

I don't think I'm a saint, just love to crochet and give away what I make.

The packing is still in progress. My main yarn stash is packed but I'm keeping out bits and pieces to make hats and scarves to give to the families at St. Vincent de Paul homeless family day shelter. There's a big skein packed for the retreat with which I'll make a pair of bed socks as a gift for someone. It will be a challenge. I think I know how I'll do it.

I'm glad 'bagged and tagged' was worth a chuckle.

Today I went to our local yarn store for the last time. I bought a pair of "thergonomic hand-aids". Have any of you used them?

WOW ! Those are nice! How old again are your students? Looks like she has a nice tight stitch. Lower left hand corner square is very cleverly done.
