Debbie~ I am so sorry for your loss.To all my new granny square friends, I wanted to thank all of you who generously agreed to help me with my little postcard project. It was wonderful to see so many strangers jump at the chance to make a stranger happy. I can't thank you all enough. Mom passed this morning. She was my best friend, my constant confident and my partner in mischief. I will miss her terribly but I know that she is now - after a long battle against cancer - in the presence of our Lord and no longer in pain. You are a wonderful group of friends. I told Dad what I was planning and he asked if he could have the cards. I think that she would have been tickled to receive them - and humbled at the kindness of so many folks from all over the country.
God bless.
