Good morning everyone, Sorry for you all that are having storms and of course snow. It is sunny and warm today in the high desert, in fact I'm outside in a minute to work in my garden. DH planted carrots, peas, beets and lettuce yesterday. My radishes, onions, garlic and cabbage are growing. We are almost at the end of our average frost date for our zone8 but it's been known to have frost until the middle of April so may have to cover stuff it it turns that cold. My roses have new leaves and my plum tree has blossoms. I even have daffodils in bloom. Time to plant the tomato seeds I guess. I did a few more squares last night using a new pattern I got off crochetcentral.com. It's an easy one but I want to make sure we have enough squares for the swap in case some that signed up have changed their mind. Will find out when I PM everyone. Have a good day!
I think Inyokern's idea of high desert and Northern Nevada's are very different. We are right at 5000' and we are nowhere near zone 8.
