oh my guess she was setting on them longer than we thought lol, first pip today

as we aren't sure when she actually started sitting, if she gets off and some haven't hatched how long do we wait before moving the unhatched eggs?

My polish eggs are fertile! :weee Poor tiny thing is bred by either EE or HRIR.
he he..how fun..are you going to hatch any? I had a white silkie, that was bred by my big HRIR...I had one egg hatch and she was red with a cute little top, and feathered legs and feet.
I've got one in the bator right now! 4.5 days in. :weee
 
Just candled the Rattytwoie egg and it looks like it quit around day 10

. But the other 2 baby pigeons are doing well even with this cold weather. I guess I will have to name one of those Rattytwoie...

Here's a pic - in case anyone wants to see what a day-old baby pigeon looks like - of Ratty (baby pigeon from new years day HAL). The new babies look exactly the same

I remember this little one. Who knew that such an ugly little critter could grow up to be such a pretty bird.

I have nine ducks, one I assisted to show another way to tell when a chick/duck is ready to come out.






ONE GOOSE is out!! has spraddle leg though, will show legs bandaged in a bit

Cute chickies! Thank you for posting these pics cause I totally forgot I can't put the wood shavings in for the first few days. I was just about to start setting up the brooder & putting the wood chips in!
